Example 1:
Sentences:
- I was hungry.
- I ate a sandwich.
Combined using conjunctions:
- Because I was hungry, I ate a sandwich.
- I ate a sandwich because I was hungry.
- I was hungry, so I ate a sandwich.
❌ Not correct: Because I was hungry so I ate a sandwich.
Example 2
Sentences:
- It was very cold.
- We sat around the fire.
Combined using conjunctions:
- As it was very cold, we sat around the fire.
- It was very cold, so we sat around the fire.
- Because it was very cold, we sat around the fire.
- We sat around the fire because it was very cold.
❌ Not correct: As it was very cold so we sat around the fire.

- And – Used to join similar ideas or add information.

- Nor – Used to join two negative ideas. Often follows neither.
- He is neither rich nor famous.

- I can neither sing nor dance.
